MILAN - FashionTV is at the SWI shoe presentation during Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012-2013. Creative Director Alvaro Gonzalez says the shoes are created taking the shapes of the 20s in mind and a lot of architecture and throwing them into a new modern era. "It's all about hard, rigid," he says, noting he doesn't want any soft backs. "If you look at the showroom, almost every shoe is in suede." For some reason, notes the Creative Director, the suede softens the otherwise rigid ambiance of the shapes in a beautiful, feminine way that works with the colors. Purples, bordeaux, green, blue are part of the color palette when treated with suede to make them rich.
